Project Natal
"It may seem like a small thing to the healthy bodied gamer, but for someone who hasn’t been able to hold a tennis racket in their hand and hit a ball, or had the luxury of running on sound legs, it’d be nothing short of a revelation. A miracle even. To enable a human being deprived of such a fundamental to experience and act out these sensations would be an extraordinary achievement. I wonder if this idea has occurred to Microsoft too. I wonder if they are aware of how positive a PR campaign and advert for their console it would be to focus on this aspect of what Natal can potentially do and ensure that it works, and works well for the disabled gamer - to put a Natal in every hospital, so to speak. Hell, Natal could win the Nobel Prize… you can buy that, right?"
